Organized by Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Medical Fair China (MFC) 2026 successfully concluded on August 22, 2026, at Suzhou International Expo Center. Under the theme “From Innovation to Application: Driving Medical Transformation and Global Expansion,” the exhibition brought together medical device companies, healthcare institutions, research organizations, industry associations and professionals from China and abroad.

This year, MFC brought together 320 medical device companies and innovative organizations, attracting 17,486 professional visitors, healthcare representatives, experts, academics and industry professionals over three days. The exhibition also saw a significant increase in international participation, with the number of overseas professional visitors and buyers doubling from the previous year and accounting for 6% of total attendance. Visitors from 48 countries and regions attended the show, including buyer groups from Germany, the UK, Australia, Canada, Kazakhstan, South Korea, India, Dubai, Malaysia, Indonesia and Romania. They met with Chinese medical device companies to discuss product procurement, market access, distribution partnerships and international business opportunities, providing more opportunities for Chinese companies to explore overseas markets.

As the only satellite event of MEDICA—the world’s largest medical trade fair—in China and a member of MEDICARE ASIA, MFC continues to leverage Messe Düsseldorf’s global healthcare industry network to facilitate international exchange and industry cooperation.

Ms. Evian Gu, General Manager of Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., said: "We are delighted to see that this year's MFC has reached a new high in internationalization, which fully demonstrates the strong appeal of China's medical device innovation to the global market. Looking ahead, MFC will continue to leverage its advantages as an international platform, further deepen international buyer outreach and market matchmaking services, help more Chinese companies efficiently connect with global opportunities, and accelerate the implementation and commercialization of more innovative outcomes, injecting new momentum into the mutual benefit and win-win development of the global medical industry."

Driving Innovation from Concept to Application Across Specialized Zones

In 2026, MFC further enhanced its specialized zones to address the evolving needs of healthcare innovation and application. Covering key areas including in vitro diagnostics (IVD), home healthcare, medical manufacturing, minimally invasive and interventional technologies, and medical consumables, the exhibition brought together leading companies to showcase innovative technologies, products and solutions, highlighting the industry’s continued transition from innovation to real-world application.

IVD Zone: From Precision Diagnostics to Multi-Scenario Applications

In vitro diagnostics (IVD) play a critical role in early disease screening, precision diagnosis and treatment decision-making. This year, MFC placed greater emphasis on its dedicated IVD Zone, bringing together more than 60 companies across molecular diagnostics, point-of-care testing (POCT), immunodiagnostics, biochemical testing, AI-assisted analysis and home testing. The zone showcased innovations spanning the spectrum from laboratory and clinical diagnostics to home health applications.

In precision and molecular diagnostics, Anbio Biotech, Nanjing Healed and HymonBio presented technologies and solutions for genetic testing, nucleic acid testing and precision diagnostics. In rapid and point-of-care testing, Drophil Biotech, Sun Biotech, QL Biotech and Anhui DeepBlue Medical Technology showcased solutions designed to improve testing efficiency and enable faster decision-making across diverse healthcare settings. Meanwhile, Getein Biotech, Kanghua Biotechnology, Human Metabolomics, Synsorbio, Hebei Xinle, Hangzhou Testsea, B&E, Sejoy, Bioland and Biobase featured intelligent testing technologies, laboratory equipment and related solutions.

Representative innovations on display further highlighted the expansion of IVD technologies toward greater precision, intelligence and home-based applications. These included Nanjing Healed’s four-in-one circular RNA test kit for depression and Sejoy’s new-generation 4G cloud-based smart blood glucose meter, demonstrating how IVD innovation is evolving across different application scenarios, from precision diagnostics to digital health management.

Home Healthcare Zone: Bringing Healthcare from Hospitals into the Home

As population ageing, chronic disease management and demand for home-based healthcare continue to grow, MFC placed greater emphasis on the home healthcare sector, covering health monitoring, home care, rehabilitation and health management. Companies including Zepu, Hanvon Health, Pango, Lumi, Jinfu, Aofeite, Lifemed, Berrcom, Exanovo and ADSS, as well as Pioneer, showcased a diverse range of products and solutions designed to support healthcare beyond traditional clinical settings.

Exhibitors showcased innovative solutions for health monitoring, home care and rehabilitation, supporting more convenient everyday health management. The zone highlighted the continued expansion of healthcare services beyond hospitals into homes and communities, reflecting the industry’s growing focus on real-world needs and applications.

Medical Manufacturing Zone: Advanced Manufacturing Enabling Medical Device Innovation

Innovation in medical devices depends not only on end products, but also on advances in precision manufacturing, critical components and materials. The MFC Medical Manufacturing Zone covered precision machining, smart manufacturing, advanced materials, fluid technology and critical components, bringing together companies including Chung Pak, Huayi Precision, AccuPath, Eco Polymer, Kamoer, Nisus, MISHPREC, Consensic and Zhejiang Hongchang Machinery.

Exhibitors showcased technologies in precision machining, medical materials, fluid control, automation and critical components, supporting greater precision, efficiency and stability in medical device manufacturing. The zone also highlighted the growing integration of advanced manufacturing with medical device R&D and production.

Meanwhile, the Minimally Invasive & Interventional Zone showcased innovative technologies and advanced medical devices for minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment. The Medical Consumables Zone featured a wide range of products for surgery, nursing, treatment and everyday healthcare, highlighting their role in enhancing clinical efficiency, supporting patient safety and improving healthcare delivery.

Many exhibitors noted that MFC offered more than a platform for showcasing innovation, providing valuable opportunities to connect directly with healthcare institutions, research organizations, distributors and international buyers.

Xu Zheng, Head of the Kunshan Service Center at LINGKE ULTRASONICS, said: “MFC offers a professional atmosphere and brings together well-matched exhibitors and visitors.
