March 7, 2025, Beijing – Under the theme "Embark Together, Achieve Beyond," Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. unveiled its strategic vision for 2025 at the partners conference in Beijing, reaffirming its commitment to fostering collaborative innovation and driving industry excellence across China and beyond.

In 2024, Messe Düsseldorf in China continued to maintain a rapid growth momentum. By the end of 2024, its leading 11 exhibitions were successfully staged, spanning a diverse array of industries such as packaging, wire and tube, pipes and cables, medical devices, retail, occupational safety and health, wine and spirits, and caravaning. These events drew 9,800 exhibitors and over 500,000 professional visitors from home and abroad, with an exhibition area of approximately 710,000 square meters.

Evian Gu (42) will become General Manager of Messe Düsseldorf in China as of August 1, 2024 and thus head the subsidiaries Messe Düsseldorf Shanghai and Messe Düsseldorf China. In this position she succeeds Marius Berlemann (38), who will take up his new position as Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf GmbH on August 1, 2024. He will also continue to be Regional Head of “Messe Düsseldorf for Asia” (MDfA).
